About Me

My name is Ben, I live in Central Maine and I am 35 years old. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas but I'm really bad about writing them down and more importantly going back to look at them.

I like writing but I always think too much about the logistics of writing and never the actual writing. I'm hoping with 2024 to explore that part of myself too.

I enjoy reading as well. I also like to think I'm an avid outdoors-person with hiking, skiing, fishing, among others.

This is my attempt at a digital garden. I have read similar articles about this in the past and I find it very interesting. I like tinkering around with software like this and make things work the way I want. Pulling data about stuff I'm interested in and displaying it in interesting ways.

This is not what I do professionally. I am Systems Administrator for a rural telecommunications company. It is interesting work and I can use the knowledge I gain from tinkering here at work and some work knowledge can be used here.
